We are pleased to give everyone a sneak peek at an artist we have just signed up for our roster in 2012- Derek Nobbs.
Derek Nobbs draws inspiration from various sources such as antique photographs, strange ephemera, vintage taxidermy, old items lovingly used until the missing paint works with nature's rust to tell a story, and the land from the desert to the sea. From this he combines elements of design with a tightly executed scenes painted on paper stained to look as old as the inspirations he draws from.
We will have a couple of works at the gallery through June!
