We just got in some impressive images by Michael Brown, who will be showing this December alongside Martin Wittfooth at the gallery. Normally known for his dark, sepia tinged portraits of strange human eyed animals, Micheal has kicked it up a notch by adding a burst of slightly incredible, fantastical flora alongside his eccentric fauna! Here is a early peek!

"Leeuwenhart"

We are getting very excited for Chris Berens second solo show at Roq La Rue opening in a few weeks. Entitled "Leeuwenhart" ("Lion Heart") the show features a lush fantasy of forested landscapes populated by enigmatic animal spirits. The show is also inspired by the recent birth of his daughter, Emma Leeuwenhart Berens. We will be posting more info about the show soon, but mark your calendars for October 22nd 6-9pm! Chris Berens will be in attendance.
