Last night was the opening for the new show featuring Jeremy Bennett, Chet Zar and Dan Quintana- we snapped a few quick pictures...

New show this Friday

We have been working hard getting ready for our new show opening this Friday! As usual we have a show worthy of the Halloween season, with work by Chet Zar, Jeremy Bennett and Dan Quintana. If you are in the area stop by!


Chet started working on "The Id" at a live painting workshop with artist Alex Grey (the gentleman on the left- Chet is on the right!)

Jennifer Zwick

Today I booked a show with Seattle artist Jennifer Zwick. She works primarily in photography, which I almost never exhibit at the gallery. However, I could not resist her fantastic "constructed narratives" series, which has been in my mind since I saw some of her work months ago. Looking at her piece "The Explorers" you can see why I was so interested in her work! Jennifer will be exhibiting in August 09...

Pop Surrealism Scrapbook

Jane Kenoyer, the gallery's current intern, made herself a reference book she was when studying up on art and the gallery's exhibits. She took notes, pasted in pictures, and drew copies of paintings she liked. I thought it was super charming and asked if I could post a few pics...
